I have joined the 3 monitor club and would have to agree that it is the Best.
I’m running 3 22 Viewsonic’s on a 1Gig ATI Radeon 3870X2 which has 3 DVI Outputs.
2 22’s are connected straight to the card while the 3rd one is connected to the card via a KVM 4 port Switch. Which allows me to swap from my main PC to my server.
So if I’m using the server, my Main pc has 2 screens and with the push of a button I’m back to 3

I purchased this item. I know have a triple screen with an extra 19 widescreen up in the top middle for the music player and just cause its cool.
My recommendation is 3 HP 2065’s 20in 4:3, rotated to potrait. You’ll never believe how INCREDIBLE it is and how widescreens are overhyped. More viewing space on a 4:3 in potrait (or even NOT in potrait), in a easier to view format. Three 1600x1200’s are beautiful, no neck craning and incredible the amount of space.
Really, make sure you get all the same monitor and resolution if possible to avoid it being frustrating and boxes changing sizes on different monitors. Three hp 2065’s, get refurbed to save, are great. Photoshop quality s-ips monitors (i have 3 S-IPS) monitors, and you can get refurbed for $250. I spent $678 cause I have a friend at HP who got me $50 the total, but otherwise, $700-750 for a ultimate setup is worth it. Just trust me and do it at the same time or you never will. It’s great!

I have a HP quadraple graphics card NVS 450(It has a PCI Express Slot). I do not have a HP computer & the graphics card lable said that guarentee void if graphics card used on any other non hp pc. Yeah i tried to use it on a non HP computer and it did not worked (i wanted to checkout the software http://www.murgee.com/MurGeeMon/ on 4 monitors), now does that mean that grahics card is faulty or it might work on a hp pc?

I know this is an old article, but I thought I should point out that Matrox included utilities that would manage your windows to each screen. Or however you wanted them to be arranged. So saying that “you’re stuck with one mongo giant desktop that spans all your monitors” isn’t very accurate. Take it from a person that had the triple head 2 go from day one… That said I won’t be going back from eyefinity any time soon.
