This is true, but you get spoiled by how incredibly portable a kick scooter can be. Electric is not _that_ much bigger and heavier but it is 2x the weight and it does have to be a bit more bulky to accommodate the engine and batteries.

Also @chrsjlrsn cold and rainy weather does not sound like a good time on a motorcycle..
