we normally do it after a project is complete which isn’t the best time to do it either
Oops, I meant to mention this-- we do code reviews at key points DURING the project. The point is that you have time to go in and make improvements based on that feedback, while the project is still underway.
Erik, sounds like what you guys are doing are postmortems. Also useful, but different than a code review for sure.
