If you’re into this type of games you should check out Liero. It’s like Worms without taking turns, so it’s utter mayhem.

I was one of the playtesters of the original Amiga version of Worms. If you can, try and play “Worms - The Directors Cut” with an Amiga emulator as it’s the best of all the versions (and made very good use of the Amiga’s hardware).

There used to be a very obscure Scorched Earth-clone called Howitzer (shareware version still downloadable from http://www.worldvillage.com/wv/gamezone/download/howitzer.zip ) which was actually better than Scorch in many ways. Grab DOSBox and give it a shot…
